Rail Intermodal

Rail Intermodal

Intermodal is the use of two forms of goods, such as a truck and a railway, to transport goods from the shipper to the receiver. An intermodal process usually begins with the container being transported by truck to the tracks, then back to the truck to complete the process. There are approximately 25 million containers shipped by intermodal shipping each year.

Our unique railway contracts offer our customers a competitive advantage. Our contracts are similar to those of large ocean-going companies and enable us to provide our customers with a railway line between international sea containers and real home-to-house rail service for our customers.
